Scope works fine but no other applications do
Re: Scope works fine but no other applications do
the standalone app would still use the sequencer midi source and dest modules. for audio, the app could use either asio or wav modules. think of the modules as the hardware jacks for the app, as though the app were a piece of hardware.
Re: Scope works fine but no other applications do
Depends what you mean by 'standalone' - if for example you wanna play a Scope synth live, not using sequencer, then would be something like :cybermooks wrote:Yes thank you all. I finally resolved my problem, actually when I found some old files I had set up. That takes care of sequencers, VSTis, DXis, etc. but what about a standalone version not running through a sequencer. How would you map that?
MIDI keyboard => Scope MIDI Source => Scope MIDI Synth In => Scope Analog Dest.
Re: Scope works fine but no other applications do
Just add more midi "i/o" in the windows driver (or use the handy scope i/o enabler app to increase the count) and add more sequencer source/dest pairs to the routing window. They go ONLY to software...and back from same.
