Post by Jngaelin »

Hey Guys!

Long time no see.

Im wondering what options i have when it comes to "glitch" devices in Sonic Core. I've been using
this VST device called "Glitch" lately...

You can build your own glitch device in Scope using Wolf's audio switchers together with all the fx which are available in Scope. You can MIDI control the switch and control it from your sequencer. It is a bit more work to set up but you end up with something new every time.

Or use the Modular to build some FX patches and control the program selection from your sequencer using program change MIDI command.

I don't get an interface in Scope 5 with that device and preset saving is as Empty Effect. :(

Jngaelin, If you make a device like Glitch or LiveCut I'd be more than glad to give it a proper testing for you :D

and this topic mentions Flexor and Roy Thinnes reLoopah

Mr Arkadin, I found the Neutron device to be way over on the right midway up or down the screen.
no problems with the interface - running latest Scope 5 on Xite
Agree with the preset window name though

I will look in to updating the MGC-6 and making it save the effects.
It will still be by MIDI note rather than a sequencer though, I just find it easier to control that way.
