SFP 3.1 spdif input at 44.1k cant get a signal ?
can someone (please) test the spdif (IN) module, I cant get any signal at 44.1k
32k 48k are all fine as soon as I switch to 44.1k the signal vanishes.
I have the exact same routing and config as in 3.01 . so the only thing that has changed is 3.1 update.
consequently I reinstalled 3.01 alongside 3.1
and all still works in 3.01, so it doesnt seem to be a driver issue.
routing>
(pc2)egosys wt2496 spdif out into(pc1) pulsar2 spdif, back into (pc2)
korg 168 on adat(a)in+out of pulsar.
system:
windows xp pro
pulsar 2 x 2
asus a7m266
512ddr

I do not have the SFP up and running yet, but I have a tip for you
You can rename this thread (click to edit the initial post) into something like: "will someone please send me their spdif" That might make someone look at the trhead, who otherwice would not?

why does the thread need renaming?

i can give you an 'answer', but don't know if you'll like it.
rightclicking the S/PDIF module doesn't give you the option to select 44.1Khz (at least on muy set up: macG3) and the manual says NOTHING about sample rate. mmm.
sorry to have not been of any help. haven't used S/PDIF even once.

ahh thanks for replying man, ;
you are the first to.. yes imo spdif is broken in 3.1 and a hot fix is needed, I can see many dont use it but I sure do and without it 3.1 is redundant .. (for me)
thanks again for the confirmation.

other sample rates are ok..
If yes, I can't confirm that "bug".
p.s.
Have you used optical or coaxial SPDIF connection ?

It is my experience from visitting a lot of messageboards, that the more specific a title, the more shure can a person be, that the right people answer.
I think the old name was as informative as:
"Problem with spdif in"
(I know that was not the exact fracing).
That can be anything, that has to do with spdif in. And people not having problems with it might very well not look there (some helpfull soles yes - but far from all).
It seamed, you wanted a copy of a working module. Now that is very easy to provide for a person using the spdif. Sp maybe someone, who had no urge to look at the problem would from the title see, that this would be an easy 15seconds problem solving (just mailing it to you. It is often like that on the internet - many very effective people, that do not want to spend too much time fixing other peoples stuff, but if it is easy they might very well do.
Maybe it is a bit different here, but I only wanted to help the best I could, as you seamed frustrated.
