Power Cable on Scope card?

Post by cybermooks »

One of my Scope cards has a power cable extruding from it (the kind of power cables that power hard disks). I have no idea what it is for? Does anyone know?

no, those are small ribbon cables. z-link cards have a molex power connector like on a harddrive.

afaik the cable provides extra juice if a 2nd A16 Ultra (or Luna Box ?) is connected via Z-Link.
it takes a plug from a (HD) line of the power supply.

cheers, Tom
