Win 98SE Message:
The following error occured during driver installation. Please update the driver manually OK.
After I unzip the SFP file I cannot find it anywhere. It just disappears in my PC.
When I go into the control panel select driver update I still cannot locate it.
I have reinstalled Version 3.01 everything is fine. What can it be that is causing this problem.

ok, let's locate your unzipped folder first... have you done a search on your disk (where temp folder is i think) for "SFP" or "SFP_V3_1?

then go to "device manager", and update your current drivers to the ones found in "sfp_v3_1DriverWin9x".

by that time, you should have found your setup.exe to install the full OS software

I have done that but I still cannot find the file. I have checked the Temporary folders, unzipped folders and others. Still cannot find it. Very strange.

Find where you unzipped SFP. You should see a folder named "Drivers". Everything you need is in there. I had the same browsing to do to install the new drivers.
Are we listening?..

I found the files. The read only box was checked. I checked archive and found them. Everything installed without a problem and is working GOOD. Thanks everyone.
