Need help with sts samplers crashing!!!

Hi,
I wanna be able to work with sts3000 without the crashing problems.
S2000P does the same prblems.
I managed to open it sometimes but most of the times it crashes SFP even by l
just loading it.
I tried Standard PC.
One thing is that I have 512mb ram. Does this count ?
I use XP with Asus P4B-E.
I used to be able to work in the past but don't remember if I had back then 1gb ram
Any other tips that I should know ?
Thanks cause this is VERY IMPORANT to me as I plan to use my scope card ONLY for general midi sampling realtime engine !
And yes I have the pulsar II card...
