scope pro xlr output problem

Post by ARCADIOS »

my analog xlr outs of my scope pro card start working with left channel dead, sound comes only from right hannel, for some seconds and after a while left channel out comes and the system works ok, in stereo.

what could that be?
it happens only after a pc restart. since left channel gives signal..everything is ok, but sometimes i wait even for about a minute..........for the left xlr out to work.

did you check the physical connectors? how about the cables? are the monitors powered? is one intermittant? from the software standpoint, the symptoms are impossible(almost).

i checked and seem ok
today for instance when i opened the system....... i had about 2seconds for the left channel to be heard....

maybe it is the mixers contacts and the inner quality and contacts to the TRS plugs..... i use TRS adaptors.... :-?

Have you tried to rebuild the project and save it again. The reason I say this is that I had a similar experience before when I thought the left channel of my outboard compressor was not working, but eventually I tracked it down to being a connection on the routing window that had somehow stopped responding correctly. Perhaps my default project .pro file had become corrupt or something like that. By removing that module and reloading it and then reconnecting the cables in the routing window and saving that project again it worked correctly. So that might be worth a try just in case. Good luck and let us know if that works.
