The show's in August, but we're on an early start to leave room for final adjustments.

This tune is a test tune, just to find out how Japanese instruments sound together with hiphop beats. The instruments you hear are bamboo flute, hichiliki, sho, and biwa. All of which are performed by me.
It's really a simple tune, nothing much happens. So what do ya think of the mixture of these 2 elements?

The drums are beefed up using the machoman mod2 patch I posted a while back. Quite a beef up don't you think?

I really like this mixture of instruments, Ken. Truely, this IS world music. Let us have the finished product, please!
Are we listening?..

Yeah, simple is nice, Dr.Suguro.
Isn't one of the lovely elements of hip-hop, that the drum stops at times - leaving one, two bars room for the Japanese-instrumentalists to come on, then joining again? Just an idea...

hold ya horses  we're still in the process of closely synchronizing the track to the dance. The final product will be around 20 minutes, feature dozens of tunes. I'll make sure I'll upload them, but that'll be quite some time from now. Right now, we have LOTS of choreographing to do!
