Koch industries is a giant petrochemical corporation and the second largest privately owned company in the U.S.. They spent 25 million funding organizations which are climate change deniers also they are a major contributor to AFP (Americans for Prosperity), to the tune of 5 million dollars. AFP was the so called "grass roots" lobby group trying to stop health care reform.

Make no doubt about it, climate change deniers are the same a-hole, wingnut, conservatives who have been wrecking our country for decades. David Koch is the 19th richest man in the world and he is subverting democracy for his own financial gain.

are you back again?

it doesn't matter who says what if the data doesn't support the theory.

the same companies that you would think would be the "deniers", fund EVERY green issue, that's right, all the big bankers and oil companies. what's so hard to understand about the fact that these clowns fund both sides of the argument? that way, every aspect of the conversation is controlled. look, the ice caps are not currently disappearing and polar bears are currently experiencing a population explosion. the climate DOES change. human co2 production is NOT the cause. if it was, they wouldn't need to make up data.

sticking your fingers in your ears and repeating a comfortable mantra isn't going to change reality. neither will jingoistic words, like "conspiracy theory", "right wing", "left wing", or "denier".

oh- and speaking of other jingoistic words and phrases like "reform"-since when is ANYTHING ever CHEAPER by having an insurance company pay for it? when has anything EVER been cheaper by having the government pay for it? why do people think that if the government pays, it's "free"? and how does 900 BILLION dollars sound like a proper amount of money to spend on the country's health care? wouldn't it be cheaper the just give 20 million dollars to every uninsured person in the country and tell them "good luck"? when i do the math, it is...no point in mentioning what George Soros does with and for money....what a bunch of ignoramuseseses.....

Ah, good to see you finally use the 'get out of jail free' card:

How to Win an Argument 101 - Using the Holocaust Denier Phrase.
In such cases where you are having trouble backing up your argument with actual facts, pull out the 'you're a Nazi card' by calling anyone who doesn't think like you a Holocaust denier. It's a bit like when you question your mum about why you can't do what you like and she says: "Because I said so."

Scientists doubt underground CO2 store safety

The Green Left party is pressing for a debate in parliament on controversial plans by Shell and the government to store carbon dioxide beneath the town of Barendrecht.
The government claims that the CO2 storage would be completely safe. But at the weekend, critical scientists in the public service TV current affairs programme Zembla voiced concerns that the scheme could indeed pose a safety risk.
Shell plans to store CO2 emitted by its Pernis oil refinery in empty gas fields under a nearby residential neighbourhood in Barendrecht, just south of Rotterdam. Supporters argue that underground greenhouse gas storage could be a key measure to tackle global warming. But the Barendrecht experiment has met with fierce local opposition. In this weekend’s documentary, a Shell spokesman admitted that the company saw the Barendrecht experiment as a public opinion test case.
Local politicians and campaigners are furious because they claim the government is forcing the scheme through using a legal shortcut. Two weeks ago it became apparent that legislation to hurry through major public works as a crisis measure to boost the economy would also apply to the Barendrecht CO2 storage scheme. The new law will prevent Barendrecht town council from going to court to block the CO2 storage plan.

gee... sorry...

go on and continue to take things at face value, cram your belief structures into those convenient brainwashed little ideological boxes that have been handed to us since birth. Don't think for yourself. Just pluck what you want out of the grand scheme and deny the 'deniers', condemn the condemners, and continue to play right into the elitists' plan for you - because they love you and know more what's good for you than you do. Climate-change is the new religion, so you must pay.

At this point we could just automate a script posting the same set of image references over & over to the few accounts still participating and really save on energy costs. Does that make this thread the equivalent of spam now?
