Hi,
doesn anyone know what the process is for transferring keys from one card to another?

The transfer is 98€ includes multiple plugs in that fee.It is required to have a 4.x version installed and only 1 card(the one which the keys you want to transfer) in the machine.

I did it a week ago.Just contact sc.

what happens to the old card.
would it still run 4.0 if you tansfer the 4.5 key?

Your main card runs the software, your other one becomes extra DSP.

What if I sold the old card?

You can keep 4.0 on the card and sell it.

What if I already sold the card and didn't know about the 98 euro transfer fee?

If you still have the card its no problem.If you shipped it already you have to ask the guy that has it now to do the transfer.You need to load 2 modules in the routing window and copy a few strings send them per mail and so on.Its best to ask sc.
