8 or more columns........Nowhere near enough...
And I add extra faders, footswitches and pedals.
For the XITE-1 I use your mixer for the obvious reasons because live I MUST have the Insert Load presets.
And now I have a Modular Synth patch that uses no presets.
This is not an easy chore, but the hardware supports the excessive MIDI CC's I assign into the Modular Synth patch.
I still need another month of practice before I use this live,
but it is actually more flexible than a hardware synth since I can use footpedals, footswitches and all other controllers in the picture.
The KS88 is the best MIDI CC controller w/ an 88 note keyboard.
The action is heavy enough for Piano, and has enough resistance
to use as a B3/Synth controller.
As the jpeg. shows all of the Switches in the patch, a total of 15.
I use 15 of the 17 buttons for that, the other 2 buttons change my
hardware EML-101 and SE-1's presets, one each.
16 faders from the Doepfer for the SpaceF FP106X, the other 9 faders for various parameters of the Modular patch.
All 24 knobs are assigned to the Modular Patch also.
Then the ModWheel is a Cfm 2 control, Ribbon COntroller ( not pictured ) is for SYNC
tunings and filter sweeps of Cfm 1.
I need another month of intense practicing to memorize the Patch, but the SpaceF
mixer is already memorized and uses all of the pictured buttons, faders and knobs on a seperate zone.
I have memorized that years ago and need no practice.
I know the Monomes are really nice and would love to try one out.
But right now I have my hands full.
If anyone really wants to control their synths and mixers in Scope while being able
to play the keyboard, I really see no equal.
There are several little 47 noter's that look nice, but this is a multiZone controller,
one that I cannot perform without.
