stuck midi notes

Post by Gary_101 »

hi folks,

this is probably an old topic,
but new to me.

I'm using Sonar 4 with Scope 4 and I'm getting a lot of "stuck" midi notes. I use an old DX7 keyboard to control both the internal PUlsar synths and an external module. The stuck notes seem to affect only the internal Pulsar devices, and will only quit if I shut down and re-start Sonar.

any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated ...

use a midi monitor(in the Scope midi menu) and see if your controller outputs active sensing. if it does, turn it off in the controller, if you can, or use a midi filter between the midi source and the sequencer midi destination. let me know if that helps.
