15 DSP card (Solaris and MultiSynth) + 6 DSP card - BUNDLE

Post by Tau »

***Would anyone be interested in buying both cards and the Express Card Magma for 1250 EUR?***

That's 21 DSPs, Scope 5, Solaris and many other plugs (see below) in a portable Express Card ready chassis. 4x ADAT I/O 2x SPDIF I/O, 2x MIDI I/O, RCA unbalanced outputs / XLR balanced outputs.

Currently installed on Windows 7 on a MacBook Pro- this is really working!

PM me if interested

Hello fellow Zs!

I have for sale: 2 Creamware Scope PCI cards, 1x15 DSP, 1x6DSP

a) 15 DSP Type II (classic I/O - RCA) PCI card (v.4.0)

This is in good condition and working perfectly. It has the original plugins that made it to v.5 (STW reverbs, and DAS RMX and channel strip), but also includes two gems that, unfortunately, are not XITE ready yet: the Solaris v.5 and SpaceF's MultiSynth.

These are both top devices, and require as much DSP you can give them. The Solaris is probably the ultimate in VA synth design and sounds like no other. Its possibilities are endless, and now with separate glide per note, it's truly a performer's synth. You can read more about it here

The Multisynth is a Multi-timbral Synthsizer / Workstation designed by SpaceF, that can accommodate up to 4 separate synths, on separate MIDI channels, in a single GUI. Each synth is equipped with BB and RD slots, so you can use virtually any sort of modular Osc and Filter to design your sound, and store it by synth or as a preset for the whole device. It comes in a few flavors, with 2, 3 and 4 synth versions, and includes some of SpaceFs custom made oscillators. read about it here.

I was told to let the buyer know that buying the MultiSynth does not include access to SpaceF Devices user area. I will provide the necessary files for the installation, and the buyer should then proceed to contact the developer to create a user account if he so wishes. This in no way affects the usability of the synth…

Also included is the Dynatube Bass-Amp modeling device. This will be hard to replace, but since it's not working on the XITE, it has to go.

OK, guys and girls, this really has to go.

I've had a few offers, but frankly... I'm sincerely considering getting a 2nd xite using the rebate applied to the PCI cards. I'm pretty sure I'll get a good deal, and a few more plugs for my system. It'll be much easier to sell afterwards, when the promotion is over, and price is back up. And especially after OSX is out.

I will have to borrow some money to do that, but I won't sell a perfectly good 15 DSP card with Solaris for 300 EUR... That's just dumb.

So, prices:

15 DSP, v.4 with Solaris, Multisynth and Dynatube Bass: 700 EUR -> this is less than 400 EUR for the card.
6 DSP with v.5: 300 EUR -> if you don't have v.5 yet, think of it as a 150 EUR board with 150 EUR of updates included.

Magma CB2 with PCMCIA: 200 EUR
Magma CB2 with EC45, practically new: 500 EUR

All can be sold separately, and I can make a combined discount if you take both cards and one of the chassis, for example.

If you have an offer, feel free to contact, but please don't stray too much from these values. I can swap for other equipment, depending on what it is and how much it's valued at.

If I don't make this, I'll either swap the boards for an XITE, or just put them in the chassis and find a good use for them. After all, it's a portable 32 ADAT I/O, 4 Analog I/O, 2x MIDI, 21 DSP system, on EC card, running on 12V AC (12v AC PSU not included in the deal). Good for recording, playing and travelling. And if anyone out there is selling 15 DSP boards for 200 EUR, as some might have me believe, I might even buy another one :)

The rebate is valid until the end of the month, so this'll be up until the 27th.

Thanks again for looking.

The Solaris needs as much DSP as it can have. I wouldn't recommend using it without a 15 DSP board. Also, I won't be dismantling the boards just yet, nor breaking up the plugin pack, so, the price of the 6DSP is 300 EUR with Scope 5 and Plus I/O. As for the Solaris, trasferring the key will cost you, as you know, so it might not be such a good deal as buying the board and adding it to your Scope system- that's 15 DSP and many excellent synthesizers.

I do have another offer for the 6 DSP, but since you got here first, I'll let you decide what to do.

Thanks!
