Has anyone managed to get ProTone working in v5?
I found the new v5 proTone.dev file on the SC ftp server, so I copied that into my devices folder. When I try to load it, it gives me the registration window as it should, I load my keyfile and it says "import succeed" but then nothing happens
Is there anything I'm missing here?
I wasn't able to get it working either so I sent Sonic Core an email asking for help. This was the response that came back:
Yes, OXE not working anymore, you have to install manually until we
have our new installers ready.
The keyfile.v5 is for your Scope 5.0 installation.
-- Important for Scope 5.0 installation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. Backup your old Scope installation in a zip.
2. Uninstall the old Scope Software and drivers
3. Install the v5.0
4. Import the keyfile.5 when starting Scope 5 first time
For proTone (attached) you may need an additional key.
Please load the device and send me the request string.
After this end Scope via task manager.
So my interpretation of this is that you need to request an additional key from them. I haven't done this yet so I don't know for sure what's going on. Good luck.

i think you're right. i emailed Ralf D a number of times a while ago after the first 5.0RC came out and it's possible he sent me a key - he certainly sent me proTone as it wasn't on the ftp at the time.
