dumb newbie question about presets

ok, this is probably gonna be embarrassingly obvious but I really can't figure it out....

How do I tell which preset Ive chosen once I close the preset window.

I load a synth and open the presets, I scan through and find something i like and close the preset window. If I forget which one I chose, how do I tell what it is so I can remember it for another time?

It doesnt appear to be displayed anywhere, not even the number for it.

Well, your right, there is nothing to help you find what you have chosen...

That a shame, i hope they fix this, it only a mater of keeping a highlight on the chosen patch...
