Any news about a 64-bit version for windows?
Re: Any news about a 64-bit version for windows?
this is really my only holdback as well.... well... besides XTC mode in Scope 5. I am really curious as to the progress to this and what is in store for XTC.
Re: Any news about a 64-bit version for windows?
It's been a month since Holger's last statement. Is there any news to report on the status of the 64 bit Vista/Windows 7 drivers? I'd really, _really_ like to use my Scope cards with Windows 7.... In that case I'd need new keys for Scope 5 as well. I've sent Sonic Core my allkeys file a couple of weeks ago but I've yet to recieve the new Scope 5 keys so even if SC released 64 bit Scopre 5 drivers I wouldn't be able to use them without new keys...

I sent an email with allkeys.skf attached to register@soniccore.de on Oct 1st.siriusbliss wrote:Which email did you use when you sent your keys?saskija wrote:It's been a month since Holger's last statement. I know I am a Scoundrel at times, but I always get fast replies from developers when I put RE: Soniccore XITE-1 purchase.
I haven't had to resort to this with S|C but with all others, the possible ongoing discussion of cash usually gets attention.....
It does wonders @ YamaBerg...

I apologise for not putting this in the Tips & Tricks thread, but some folks might find use from it in the whiner threads too...

Re: Any news about a 64-bit version for windows?
This one could have been created a long time ago. Some sort of "let off steam" thread

not yet, but NAMM is coming up, so would expect something before then.
Again, you can always email S/C.

64-bit -> ++1
esp. if you are into building a new daw ... with much more than 4 gb, win7 and tons of plugins like omnisphere, trillian, bfd2 ...
I will wait until release of Nuendo V5 64 bit at the very latest then I have to make a decision ...

I'll have to make a decision too: whether to continue with the Scope system or buy another soundcard with multiple ADAT and SPDIF I/Os instead.dtb wrote:64-bit -> ++1

My bandmate is already on 64-bit without having really heavy problems (a few tweaks here and there, JBridge ...) and replaced his 15dsp cw-card by a RME Fireface 800 - maybe me too ... (he uses the FF800 with his notebook too)

it's all about what you want.
i could never replace a Scope card with a Fireface(even though the Fireface is a fine product). not willingly, anyway...

Re: Any news about a 64-bit version for windows?
I don't get the point either...
Seen a RME 9652 go on eBay for less than 200 Euro recently, capable to route 24 Adat channels.
Put that into your multi-core-32-GB monster if you like.
A (dedicated) Scope hardware box is barely 200, if at all - it runs from a small flashdrive without hassle.
Use a KVM Switch to avoid 2 sets of mouse, keyboard, screen.
For less than 500 you're ready to go with a much neater setup, which is easier to maintain, too.
So what is this bla bla all about ???
cheers, Tom

Re: Any news about a 64-bit version for windows?
my scope card is very useful with a poco_6000+duende_pcie_studio. im sure with xite-1 these 3 combination will provide me bigger possibility (with new xtc) and scope has some different sound that i like.

i disagree, but it will help to SELL XITE.
Re: Any news about a 64-bit version for windows?
hmmm....
have i really made any money? it might not be that hard to make more than none...
i'm not against any feature. i don't have a need for further integration, unless i can keep what i have in Scope already, personally. that doesn't mean that i don't want others to have it though.
