Title says it all, really!
I got my Soundcraft 600 working, and have been meaning to do some dub mixes on it for ages. Real spring reverb, real tape echo... and a B4000 for organ!

Only remark is i have some issues with the drum compression. I'd personally do something about the "noise", but again, thats just me

Thanks all!
I was blatantly going for an Augustus Pablo vibe with that one, so the drums are kind of intenionally noisy - I could probably have taken it a bit easier on the compression, but listening to some proper Studio One dub just now, the levels are all over the place there too; probably a mixture of compression and slamming the tape really hard.
I might do some G-funk 'versions' now - I'm thinking 'Nothin' But A G Thang' or something, as there are some synth lines there that could work well on a melodica... I'll chuck it up here when I've got something worth listening to.

Heya,
I know this is a little late, but nice one! You did a good job recreating Pablo's sound.
But if I may suggest doubling up your drums sounds with low-res drum hits mixed in just enough (usually around 20 to 30 percent the main drum hit's volume) to put a little grit into the your existing drums. It works well for me in Dub/Jungle/Dubstep material.
