Creamware lost their distribution here because of "bad relations" a salesman told me. It doesn't matter if you can get. It's not available at any major retailer here in the USA. It's doomed. Please update your insane irrational optimism.pollux wrote: I could afford it, and had no problems finding a distributor (I wasn't the only one, believe me). I do agree with you: it's great stuff.
Please update your whining to a newer release. Win 7 is out

Re: Dear God
NOTHING Creamware is related to S/C except the actual product. CW foibles are CW foibles.

And nothing in this forum is related to Braincell.garyb wrote:NOTHING Creamware is related to S/C except the actual product. CW foibles are CW foibles.
It's about S|C, which he doesn't own or use.
And also about God which he doesn't believe in.
But he will always be angry for getting screwed on his Luna purchase, and forever dwell in the house of Scope as a scrorned lover.
His hatred is a good balance for the lovers of Scope.
Speaking of Love.................
How about a live MIDI CC controlled VDAT/VRC-S live rig.
Instantaneous locater features, pre-roll during punch ins is so vintage.
The set up below is basically a 2 x Footswitch pedal, live performance project.
For recording, I simply add a 3rd pedal for record, and I can punch in numbers from keypad or scroll, and it is locked via Clock Out. I like using the 9 big faders on the KS88 and knobs to act as on/off switches. Even though I could use buttons I need those for program changes.
Also the Clock Out is synced to Cubase 4 if necessary. But since I prefer the 32bit Integer sound and larger mixes, I'll stay w/ VDAT. Cubase is fine for live recording of 4 stereo Busses. But for 32 or 64 track live VDAT is the way to go.
Pretty sweet stuff. Not as cool as a Part Timer w/ a RAID Piano on an ECHO MiaMIDI card.....................

Geez, let it go - along with that antiquated Creamware mentality.braincell wrote:Creamware lost their distribution here because of "bad relations" a salesman told me. Dislodge history.
Distributors should be up to date and aware of the change over to S/C by now. If not, then that's their loss.
I prefer to be insane, irrational, and optimistic

Yes I bought a card from Sonic Core and oddly it was labeled Creamware. I thought there is nothing related? I don't own a Mia, pay attention!!! By the way most of the stuff in the SC 5 was invented by Creamware. I thought this company wasn't related to Creamware. What a moron!

Re: Dear God
You keep forgetting that S/C took on the old Creamware inventory. They didn't have to. Creamware coulda just tossed it all in a bin somewhere, and S/C coulda just focused on developing Xite and other things that you probably won't care about anyways.braincell wrote:Yes I bought a card from Sonic Core and oddly it was labeled Creamware. You keep dismissing business practices.
THAT's what I know...

Re: Dear God
Why do people keep saying the Xite is not stand alone and is dependent on the platform????
Oddly enough Ralf has the same name as the guy who did support prior to SC what a coincidence! I understand that some of the management is different but they are still operating under the same philosophy and I still don't see them at any of the major online music gear sites. That was the point of my post.
I heard directly from an online gear reviewer who was loaned an item from SC, that had a problem and was not able to get any support. He decided not to buy that item which he actually liked.
When a company lends an item out for a review. That person ought to get the highest level of support. That is poor management. If I was in charge someone would be fired over this.

Re: Dear God
the whole music industry would be a place where bugs were not existing or ironed out in an instant, where software was perfect, hardware unbreakable, support incredible and the customer always king, if you were in charge.braincell wrote:If I was in charge someone would be fired over this.
but it will all remain like it is unless you get your lazy ass off your chair and start being in charge for at least something. ok then, what position at SC you will apply for?

Re: Dear God
Which reviewer would that be BC..
I would be interested to see what he writes about and what he says.
From my understanding developers will get units first, prior to any review.
But maybe you are really hooked up well at this company you so despise.
So this is an online reviewer right, must be public.
How about a link..??
I seriously doubt the ASB or old cards were sent at this late date for any type of review....
So I will call your Obviuos bluff.
You didn't mysteroiusly delete the link did you....?

Re: Dear God
It was an ASB but I'm not saying more as this was a private conversation. Greg knows who I am talking about.
Re: Dear God
BC, these are your IMPRESSIONS, but they're not factual.
you sure do like trolling this site, which i find especially funny since you don't use any Scope products anymore and haven't for some time, afaik....

The Scope card is waiting for 64 bit drivers. I want to do some mixing with it.
