If you need a good 2 ch da or ad or both, look at the lavry black/blue.
------------------------------
I did a search on the web.
I reading all the characteristics of the converters: ADA 8000,A 16 ULTRA,ROSETTA,etc..
and (on what is written in the specification:24/96,Dynamic Range on A/D - D/A,Channel Separation,etc..)
I write a classification of this : **TOP CONVERTERS**

1 LAVRY (approx. 127 dB)
2 LYNX AURORA (Total approx. 117 dB)
3 APOGEE ROSETTA (approx. 114 dB)
4 A 16 ULTRA (approx. 110 dB)
5 ADA 8000 (approx. 100 dB)

-------------------------------------------------
so ...
or "lavry" or "behringer" ... the half-measure, will never a difference, in recording and listening
-------------------------------------------------
useless boys.....
if you want to change, the converter and have the best quality, "and feel the difference".
you can't spend less than € 4500 / $ 6000.
:(
-------------------------------------------------
Thanks to everyone for the answers !!

i will say this(again) about the A16 Ultra, Bose corp has purchased a number of them from me for their R&D work as they are the ONLY reasonably priced multi channel AD/DAs with all inputs in phase.
