I always have to boot Logic Audio twice before I can use it. I have discovered that this is because there is no player and recorder selected in my multimedia properties window of my Windows Control Panel. The problem is this:

When windows boots it sees the background project as a Luna so far so good, but then when I load my project it sees my setup as a Pulsar card so this makes the original Multimedia setting invalid which causes Logic not to boot the first time (it freezes) and then I have to use the task manager 4 times or so to close Logic, after that I can boot it.

Does anyone have an elegant solution? besides having to alter my multimedia settings before each time I load Logic?

In devices manager, the Luna (or Pulsar) devices, in properties, uncheck 'always load devices'

Under multimedia properties/devices

I looked at the Pulsar properties and there is no box which says 'always load devices'.

Under Pulsar properties in the device manager there is no 'always load devices' either.

What exactly do you mean marcuspocus?

Forgive me if i'm wrong, but is it the "use only preferred devices" box? (not near my machine at the moment)

No, not in Multimedia properties, but System properties-> devices Manager-> Sound and sh*t devices->Luna (or Pulsar) ->Properties pane -> Then uncheck the 'always open devices'

This is for Logic, for Cubase, you don't have to do this...

BTW, it is decribed in README.TXT

Good luck!
