the constipation theory ?

lugnoor wrote:Very funny forum.

It took quite a while til someone got the peaceful idea.
Pretty arrogant reactions also, like usual.
You gentlemen appear a bit like grouchy old farts waiting for any opportunity to dump your unsolicited patronizing.
Though I like those conspiracy theory insinuations. Very scary.
Also hijacking with poor and pure nonsense seems natural here.

I am still glad there are some around that appreciate more than the french cliché like french fries, topless makeup-free beach girls and absolutistic history about France.
I celebrate with you.

Take the example of Mr JV, he has made friends all over the world.
They take his hard earned dollars gladly and share the frisky enthusiasm for music chit-chat.
That's the peace and love in the mind and in the heart we should drown in, shouldn't we.
I also bought some gear from Sir Moog.
So, following the idea, I can talk about the US now.

I even rememebr an indian friend crossing the street , alone, just right in the middle between the CRS (special riot brigade) and the demontrators who were about to get into a fight.... great memory too bad no-one had a camera cause that was really a fun moment ;-) . If CNN (or french tvs) was there i wonder what it would have become "young indian psycopath defies rioters in protest to free tibet" , ... or something like that

constipation ? more like chiasse

My best wishes and joyful celebrations to peaceful minds out there on the planet.
Cluttering and hijacking obviously impose no sanction here.
Also interesting to read that here is a habit of beating up members.
This means the ones left and present here are the ruffians ?
Very likely you guys have not really beaten them, but havered them to death.
I wonder who exactly is moderating the naffness, whether it is on purpose or not.

hwyl,

This is a largely un-moderated forum. It is owned by John Cooper, who has been an immensely generous benefactor, and only steps in in the case of true abuse. There is a donation option available if you'd really like to offer support. It won't buy any influence, however.

Perhaps there is a language barrier which prevents your receiving the good-natured humor that is most-often involved here. Perhaps your own expectations don't match our output. Maybe Mehdi or other French users can give us an idea whether maomusic would provide the professionalism that you feel we lack?

Your post was in the Off Topic forum, as it should be. I don't read anything in the replies that denigrated your opinion, which was expressed in French, no less. At least until you began spouting Plato...

Just my opinion, likely hijacking/attacking/inconsequential/unprofessional, if you choose to interpret as such.

Hey lugnoor

If you have any interest in doing a psycho-profile of this forum, feel free to browse it. agitation is pollution to whatever you are doing, besides tolling.

good luck, and have fun.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Hi Cortone,

thanks for talking straight.
I learned already before that I am the one mistaken by lacking of humor.

Of course it is hijacking, cluttering and havering.

I guess it is again me missing the point that 'off topic' means that any OT naffness is fine. Piling one upon another is even better. It is OT, so make it OT.
Next time I know this rule.
Tell me, is there also a competition who is first in OT replies ? Or maybe how far it is possible to go OT in a single post ? Is it important to place a series of OT on a single page ? Do emoticons or picture increase the OT score ?

When registering on John Coopers website it became clear that he owns the forum. I was wondering if he also moderates it. According to what you say he does not, which explains for sure why the self-exposers dominate the replies.

I savvy also that quoting Plato - you call it 'spouting' - is only wrong because it was an OT by me. Humorous OT - mild sarcasm especially - is only allowed for the ruffians. copied, but I am seriously not sure there is a language barrier.
Thanks for helping.
There is so much to learn about planet Z.

Funny forum, outrageous, am I OT enough now ?

Hi next to nothing,

psycho profiling an entire forum is next to nothing I am capable and interested in.

It is me again who is not humorous enough to understand the second sentence. Could you open up to me what you mean with agitation, pollution and tell me what tolling is.

As you know I am not very familiar with the habits and rules in here.
Is agitation also needed ? agitation of what ? Is tolling a code for the ruffians ?

wow.

lots of drama here.

i'm glad everyone is having so much fun.

am i a ruffian? i'm sorry. my government mandated tranquilizer prescription just ran out and i'm never going back....

actually, if you like lugnoor, you can come to my part of town and find out what a real ruffian is(not me or anyone here). as far as i have seen, no one has wished you or anyone else any mental or physical distress, pain or harm, far from it! i will admit to being somewhat confused as to what, exactly, you are distressed by. i am also confused as to the exact point of this thread, not that i mind in the least, seeing as this is an off-topic forum(any b$ that is not Scope). are you French? are you Welsh? are you a former planetz poster who has come here to troll because of a grudge that i don't comprehend?

`Curiouser and curiouser!' cried Alice (she was so much surprised, that for the moment she quite forgot how to speak good English); `now I'm opening out like the largest telescope that ever was! Good-bye, feet!' (for when she looked down at her feet, they seemed to be almost out of sight, they were getting so far off). `Oh, my poor little feet, I wonder who will put on your shoes and stockings for you now, dears? I'm sure I shan't be able! I shall be a great deal too far off to trouble myself about you: you must manage the best way you can; --but I must be kind to them,' thought Alice, `or perhaps they won't walk the way I want to go! Let me see: I'll give them a new pair of boots every Christmas.'
And she went on planning to herself how she would manage it. `They must go by the carrier,' she thought; `and how funny it'll seem, sending presents to one's own feet! And how odd the directions will look!

Alice's Right Foot, Esq.
Heartrug,
Near the Fender,
(with Alice's Love).

Oh dear, what nonsense I'm talking!'

Just then her head struck against the roof of the hall: in fact she was now more than nine feet high, and she at once took up the little golden key and hurried off to the garden door.

Dude ;)

as stated, this is a self moderated forum. Moderation wont take place until it is actually needed. have a look at your history ( http://forums.planetz.com/search.php?au ... 5&sr=posts ) and you MIGHT understand where the tolling comes in. Feel free to PM the moderators if you feel you are mistreated by the way.

and i did it again! i could say trolling, which i intended, but i cant say 'tolling' is unfitting either, so i'll leave it be.

enjoy the forum!

and for your entertainment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTQfGd3G6dg&feature=fvw

have a good one!

Self moderated is what I was going to say as well, so if the conditions of this forum strike you in any way it's surely a reflection on us. :P

Yes garyb you are funny indeed.

Obviously you are also a humorous talent.
I am not sure whether you are more confused than I am, but you apparently express yourself much more humorous.
Taking your questions for what they are, I have neither french nor the british nationality. Does that matter ? Is it another rule I did not manage to grab ?

You mention also that I am supposed to be a former Z member.
How come ?
Do you guys frequently beat up noobs and then have a kind of paranoia about virtual rebounds ?

I did not know that moderation here works by denunciation. I am far from doing such things.
I prefer to tell the ruffians straight what they do.
And I will respect any moderator decisions about my posts.
Great humor garyb, have you considered to launch a show in Vegas.

Hi next to nothing,

very nice video from Monty Python. I like that british humor.
Does it mean that the Z ruffians are like the knights that say ni ?
My excuses that I did not savvy that you talk about trolling. Missing an r is next to nothing though.

Looks like you are close to, but would of course never ever really explicetly label me a troll, because you are not one of the ruffians.
Thanks for that.

Yeah, I've been held to task, on my moments of general ignorance as well...no love lost though...still one of the best collections of talent, imo, in the industry...and you know who you are...

Very right valis.
Self moderation applies certainly to all involved including myself.
Be assured I will consider to leave this funny and amusing place whenever it gets boring or naff.

Up to now I only sense arrogance and patronizing and that I am the bad boy without humor incapable of understanding the OT rules.

im sorry if that is how you feel. however, feel free to ask any scope related question, even neglecting person-characterising troll-like descriptions as you have a tendency to fill in, and i'm pretty sure you will have an answer.

lugnoor, i'm just curious about the etymology and meaning behind what i assume to be your name. that's why i ask about your nationality. btw-Welsh and British are different enough that either side would pummel the naive for mistaking of one for the other.

soooo...
who has been vandalized and abused here? how about some plain talk? you don't like what was said to yourself or someone else? has there been a lack of good etiquette? the comments about beating up noobs seems to suggest a deep wound, perhaps in the derrierre? as i said, speaking for myself, i'm not feeling any evil on this end of the keyboard....as to expecting "virtual rebounds", no i don't EXPECT them, but you never know. some people are crazy....

thanks, for the compliments on my humor. i'm funny looking too.

next to nothing, so well spoken(typed)....
