My favorite developers are from France.........DAS, Celmo and SpaceF..
Do you use any of their plugs?
If not you should check them out. A decade of excellent development.
And post some candid shots of Sophie Marceau if you ever catch her 'round town.

Don't be so hard on yourself. You spoke first and I thought I would point out the nicer things from France.
Well I guess your lack of a reply on the fine developments coming out of France means, you don't have Scope cards, or those fine French plugs.
Too bad, I will celebrate your countrymens achievements for you.
KVR-VST has some really nice stuff ther for free, so I've been told.

well lugnoor, Plato was a pig who advocated the enslavement of the common man. he may have had knowledge, but he was blind. The Republic was an insulting document that is still used today to abuse and take advantage of human nature-all of us stuck in that jerk's cave...

i thought you had a heart full of love?

Jim, i believe hwyl noor is Welsh...maybe mr. noor will elucidate..

I heard that the Fever Rockin' Studio wasn't XTC compatible but when you pull those little strings by the miniature faders, nice 2bit loops are triggered.

July 14th is the anniversary of the taking of the Bastille, and therefore, France's national day. I believe that might have been the reason why Lugnoor was celebrating.

Celebrations in France, however, seem to have gone violent, at least from what I saw (briefly) on TV (images of policemen beating up demonstrators). Not sure of the scale, because I can't seem to find any article about it on the web. That may also have something to do with Lugnoor's post.

So, with this in mind, SALUT to all French people here on Planet Z, (those who code, and those who play), and stay safe, all of you.

Yep, France so called "guettos" are provocating police on every occasion.
The social situation is quite tensed in France for a while now and our national day won't help but make people remember why the Bastille and the 1789 Revolution events.
Also one growing part of the population is spitting on France as a democracy, thanks to Mr OmniPresident Sarközy de Nagy-Bocsa.

"Happy birthday to you, Mr President, happy birthday to you..."

Don't beleive what TV says, they need to show spectular "news" and make a storie of them by exagerating. I rememebr 2 years ago with the riots everybody in the world thought france was under civil war and my US friends parents phoning in panic whereas it was very localized whereas the news showed (and reported) about a country under war etc etc.... I even rememebr an indian friend crossing the street , alone, just right in the middle between the CRS (special riot brigade) and the demontrators who were about to get into a fight.... great memory too bad no-one had a camera cause that was really a fun moment ;-) . If CNN (or french tvs) was there i wonder what it would have become "young indian psycopath defies rioters in protest to free tibet" , ... or something like that

Very funny forum.

It took quite a while til someone got the peaceful idea.
Pretty arrogant reactions also, like usual.
You gentlemen appear a bit like grouchy old farts waiting for any opportunity to dump your unsolicited patronizing.
Though I like those conspiracy theory insinuations. Very scary.
Also hijacking with poor and pure nonsense seems natural here.

I am still glad there are some around that appreciate more than the french cliché like french fries, topless makeup-free beach girls and absolutistic history about France.
I celebrate with you.

Take the example of Mr JV, he has made friends all over the world.
They take his hard earned dollars gladly and share the frisky enthusiasm for music chit-chat.
That's the peace and love in the mind and in the heart we should drown in, shouldn't we.
I also bought some gear from Sir Moog.
So, following the idea, I can talk about the US now.

Let's celebrate France and it's excellent contributions like this fine creature.
I could care less about what she speaks of but her voice is beyond sexy, and that pretty face.
And hey how about that excellent DAS 224 Reverb........yeah.
That sucker has just the right amount of editing features, and the sound is very close to the old Lexicon PCM70.
Having a SpaceF mixer with 4 x AUX's packed w/ verbs is way sweet.
French Wine, French Women, French Plugs and a chunk of Brie would suit me fine.

Vive Une France Libre.........

I still use butter on my popcorn......
Melissa_Theuriau_1.jpg
Any candid bikini shots of her would be way cool......
