Happy B'day USA...allhtough I'm not happy in the direction our country is going...all and all...still proud to be an American.

My family came from Perugia, Italy in the early 1900s...and their first born, was named Primo, my Grandfather...I'm confident the intellectuals can figure that one out....

God Bless....

Nationalism is stupid. I am ashamed that I am forced to be somehow related to people who happen to abide in the same artificial boundaries, especially since the values of this nation are so different from my own. A marine just threatened to dump my garbage by the side of the road because he felt it was too close to his cooler full of wine and ham. He fought to defend this country yet he wouldn't mind trashing it because his cooler is more important. This is why the world hates us. One of the most idiot countries in the world who thinks they are hot shit because of material wealth.

Nationalism is the love of the tribe. it applies to Germany or France or Japan because those places are basically one family of people, lieage wise. it has NOTHING to do with borders. a nation is a group of people. the USA is NOT a nation because it's made of many DIFFERENT nations. look it up and look up the root of the word. this shows just how confused and brainwashed we all are when we use a word meaning tribe to describe a border.

Where I live a lot of people who get married are related to each other and that creates deformed babies who grow up to be republicans.

Well Braincell as usual we can count on you for a laugh..............
Did you think by placing your refuse near someones food they would thank you..?
Anyone who has ever been in the military gets a good brainwashing on cleanliness, it lasts a lifetime actually.
Making your bed as soon as you wake up, taking pride in your appearance, etc.
He assumes by the way you look that you are foul, which in his eyes means you wake up and hot breath milk from the fridge before making your bed, wear dirty underwear, have filthy fingernails and wear flip flops for shoes out of sheer laziness, therfore your trash is probably attracting flies and maggots and was probably not even tied properly.
Thanks to people like him you can actually have those strange opinions w/o fear of being jailed.
Maybe in the future a Utopian society is possible, your just a century ahead of all of us.

It seems as though your neighbors at least have a Penis. You should try having sex sometime. Most crackhead whores have a low self esteem and wouldn't mind your foul odor and disgusting appearance.

Happy 4th & weekend................

braincell, way to come back from an ignorant statement with an attempted insult!

listen, i'll tell you again, the inbred ones are the people behind this wonderful "world without borders" that they've sold you on. really, Darwin married his aunt, Rockefellor and Rothschild and Windsor all married and had sex with cousins, sisters, brothers and aunts and uncles(that's how they keep the power in the family and how they keep all the "good genes" from becoming "polluted"). oh, and Clinton, Bush, Cheney, Obama, Gore, and Kerry(and Hugh Hefner  ) are all BLOOD relations.

why be so gullible? just because they say that they love people doesn't mean that they do.

you are funny, though. you hate other people and you hate your country. i pity you in your unhappiness and hatred of your self. machines won't make the human world nice, just controlled, but since you can't trust yourself without external control, i can see how you would think the rest of us need it. the thing is, who controls the controllers?

neither are we. i never did any of that, and i doubt you have either.

the governments that control those people and the one that controls the USA's people are all on the same team, however.

the rhetoric and self loathing are not necessary. just face it, you and many others misuse words like nationalism and so you and many others don't really know what you're talking about when you use those words. "country" and "nation" are not related words. they are certainly not synonyms. country speaks of land, terra contrata, the land i am against, while nation speaks about people. the confusion comes that most countries are inhabited by one larger nation(tribe), from which the country gets it's name. the USA is made of 100's of nations, such as the cherokee nation, and the basque nation. politicians in america, knowing the public to be ignorant, make promises for "this" nation, and stupid people think that the politician is speaking about them, instead of his own tribe....

flag waving is ok. haven't you ever seen a world cup match?

Out of Political correctness we have become " Nation Builders " though.
I am sure our troops are all excited about whipping peoples asses and then hanging around to become a target while wearing Carpenters bags.
I am shocked at how many people are signing on to serve these days when the pay really sucks, and the role playing is unbelievably politically correct.
OPEC and the IMF have an incredibly large role when it comes to placing our troops around the globe.
In all honesty I think we should have let Saddam Hussein take the Saudi oil fields in '91, then go in there and whoop his ass.
We could be sitting at the table in Geneva instead of bowing to it...............

Aghanistan war with so-called Taliban is about Heroin and oil companies trying to get control of land to build pipelines from the Caspian Sea. So was Clinton's Bosnian War (attempt at pipeline going the other direction into Europe). Iraq was about opening shipping lanes for that oil (and some other esoteric goodies stolen from museums and such).

Vietnam/Korea? Heroin/opium with side-business of child prostitution.

We must distinguish our country and it's multi-tribal cultural histories from the deeds of the 'controllers' of this country - which include evil elitist assholes pulling the strings of BOTH the Dems and Repubs.

All I am saying is the flags I see around here, the American flag and a few Confederate flags give me the shivers because I know those are the xenophobes. I had a Japanese friend comment about all the flags everywhere, how strange it is and I agree. It's stupid. Until Obama most politicians kept saying we are the greatest nation in the world. Did they live in every nation? How can they say such a thing unless they have lived elsewhere. Do they mean it literally? It sounds ignorant to me, like something you would expect from inbreds. This is why other countries hate us. Isn't it enough to be a good nation? Why do we have to say we are better than every other nation?

Obama says we are the greatest nation on Earth too.
But as he tries to mend the harm the Bush boys did, he has to bow to a few Kings and agree with dictators so we can all swing each other at the playground again.

I am sure you feel so unrepresented as you despise your own country's flags, so I found one you could get all warm and fuzzy thinking about.
The way they hand out Nobel Peace Prizes I bet even you could give a speech there and get one.

what the hell does that mean, "greatest nation"? they certainly aren't talking about a COUNTRY. a NATION is a TRIBE. wow, talk about pig ignorance..."we" are not a nation. the Japanese PEOPLE are a nation. the French PEOPLE are a nation. the Scots(the PEOPLE) are a nation. AMERICA is not a nation, it's a land.

serves the sheep for listening to liars known as politicians....

maybe the politicians use the word "nation" because they are all related by blood it seems, and they are talking about themselves and their own families and the stupid masses think that they speak for the masses and THIER families....

Greg that IMF flag can't be correct. It should read 'Incidental Monetary Fraud' or something. There should also be a slogan beneath the logo on the flag that reads "Leading the way in the business of collapsing 3rd world economies on behalf of the Federal Reserve & international bankers".
