Have you disabled the V4.5 startup at boot? This is most likely the problem. If you have more than one card, it's also possible that you don't have V5 drivers for all of them. There are threads about both of these issues here on PlanetZ.
if you're trying to use xtc mode, then you have to select the new driver in the sequencer. the sequncer is trying to open the old version. in order to use xtc mode, there's a hack you have to do which is elsewhere in these forums. xtc mode is not officially supported in v5 yet...
those messages are from v4.5 trying to start, but the old driver is gone, replaced by the v5 driver so the old program can't start and it gives you that notice. go to start/run/msconfig/startup and then uncheck SFP or C:/Scope_4_5 or whatever form Scope shows up as in the menu. you shouldn't get the message anymore.
you can also rename your Scope 4.5 folder to something like xxxxScope_4_5_ so that windows can't even find the 4.5 folder, but the files won't get lost. if you still get "can't start" errors, then reinstall the v5 driver....
