Xite and XTC

Post by lugnoor »

Hi Zs,

peace and joy.
I am a newbie in here, but really interested in Xite.

Is anyone in here who owns a Xite already and is knowlegeable about XTC mode with XITE.

[Waves hand slowly like Alec Guinness] There is no XTC mode in XITE. Go about your business.

Takk 19bears and MrArkadin and jan,

It looks like there is noone interested in a full sequencer integration like other DSP engines do it.

Amazing since I have heard and seen many good vibes about Xite.

I had a scope setup with XTC and it worked pretty fine.
Now I was hoping with Xite there is a revival of host integration.

Do yo know if this is on the roadmap ?

i emailed soniccore a year ago and asked them. and they told me it would be supported in the future... but ask them instead!
to me, it would be stupid of them not to support xtc mode.. alot of people work with a similar setup, so why not support it!
- i told them of an idea i had of an xtc shell.. to load inside sfp.. they said they would look into it, but who knows..
short story: email SC :D

Good point.

I did not know they respond to emails like that.
That is why I looked in here.

Seems now that between all that babble and nonsense posts there are some helpful mates on this planet.

Peace MrArkadin, no offense,

to the contrary you have been helpful and straight.

I was searching here in the forum before posting.
With regards to XITE there is lots of useless and brainless wittering, but nothing really helpful.
There seem to be members that like their count or their brain discharge more than a helping hand :D

Therefore i was posting the question for XTC hoping to find knowledgable answers and not this useless vapouring.

Thank you again.

Hi Jan,

following the advice and I sent an email as well.
I think it is ok to share the content since it fully confirms what you said.

Ralf stated that XTC for XITE and Scope5 will come with the final release...soon.

Reading through 'self declared expert' drivel in here I understand that 'soon' - as you highlighted it - is a qute flexible term.

So SC works on it and it will come.
Thanks to everyone contributing.

I think it would be ok to highlight that noone here has declared themselves an expert.

Hi irrelevance,

you are right. Present company in this thread excepted.
I was referring to the distracting XITE drivel I found here on Z in other threads.

I take Jan, MrArkadin and 19bears for what they did: Helpful Mates.
Now I have some facts about Xite and XTC.

Thanks to everyone who contributed.

hi and welcome to the forums, lugnoor

as you will discover yourself after spending some more time here on planetz, this forum is not only about serious business and tech stuff. often it's like a family place, a second home, where you can come by anytime you want and have some nice chats and laughs. I agree there's some distraction from the subject of matter sometimes, but you'll always get an answer here, even if it's just "ask sonic|core"

have fun, cheers

Hhmm yes, i thought 'distracting drivel' was a bit harsh - this is by far the best forum on any planet and occasionally people like to use humour (like in real life). We're not all lab-coated technicians but you'll always get help amongst the fun.

I'm a self-declared expert in distracting drivel, so maybe he has a point? :P
