Can anyone provide me with a way to download the 3.0 installer? My CD was water damaged. I could meet you in a DirectConnect chatroom, or download from your webspace...

I ask because I can't install the v3.01 update by itself, can I?

Also, is it possible for me to use the new Luna beta WinXP drivers with PulsarXTC?

Looking for any new platforms I can install PulsarXTC on. I've tried Win98SE on 4 different computers, and none worked. So sad!(

Also, sorry to make such a lame entrance on this board. I've had such terrible, awful luck installing the PulsarXTC. But I hope to get it running and be a useful contributor here.

Cheers,

h

Did you check the Win9x Optimisations in Tips'n'Tricks? What is your computer configuration? Check our configurations in Tech Forum here.

I would not search for a 3.01 installation right now, just get the full 3.1 one of these when it's out.

The two real OS'es from Microsoft, Win98 and XP, are both working great for me and other people. I would not go for WinME or Win2k.

Interesting. I was about to switch to 2000, but you're making me reconsider...

I called my dealer and had them copy the install CD. I just paid for shipping, glad they were so cool about it. It'll be here in a few days.

This is a really cool forum! Glad to be here. Another question I didn't find so far in the forums is if Pulsar plugins work with PulsarXTC. Is it possible to buy more plugins for PulsarXTC, both from Creamware and third parties? Creamware seems to claim so, but I wrote to Z-Plane and they said that a full Pulsar is required.

Also it seems that the PulsarXTC is potentially very useful, if I can load it up with XTC effects before using the host CPU for VST/DX effects, and that I can use both at once for such purposes. Am I missing something here?

Also the expansion options seem really very cool. But when is someone going to write a TDM-XTC or, god forbid, offline TDM-VST or TDM-DX wrappers? Oh please, mighty audio programmers....

Finally, and then I'll shut up, has anyone tried the peer-to-peer mixing/effects with Cubase SX on multiple machines?

cheers,

h

- No TDM here. No VST plugins can be run on DSP either. Plugins on your XTC card are written exclusively for Creamware's boards. And don't underestimate the power of P... euh Creamware and it's developers.

-Cubase SX is not released yet. For now, we're working with 5.x
