Despite the fact that uad-2 is released this card is still not outdated and it is completely enough for "compressor (uad best product range) session". Look chart here: http://www.uaudio.com/support/uad/charts.html - Completely enough for running several combination of 1176, LA-2A or LA-3A or VCA VCU even SSL at the same time. Plus you have Dreamverb for pretty silk and smooth reverb sound.

Pulsar II with Z-link, (must be type II card)
SCOPE SRB 15 DSP (must be 15. or 14. dsp, must be type II card),
or Scope Pro Z-link. (must be type II card )

Plugin package is not important (i already have all SonicCore synths and plugins) but if you have TimeWorks Ambience reverb registered on card you have some advantage
