Greetings all; I've got a chance to do some Scope buying this week (yippee) and I can't decide whether to grab XOR or to upgrade Flexor to V3 (prolly will do both eventually but -- especially buying in $CDN, and given the other upgrading i need to finally do -- it's either-or for now).
I'm still running Scope v4, with an upgrade planned shortly to V4.5-V5. If Flexor 3 worked on Scope V5, I'd grab it in a moment (i haven't missed anything, have I? The Flexor 3-Scope V5 status hasn't changed?).
I'm tempted to grab Flexor V3 and continue using V4/V4.5...Is Flexor 3 that great (compared to 1.5), or will I be better off just getting on w/ the Scope V5 upgrade (when it happens), and console myself for having no Flexor 3 by using XOR? What do you think?
Regards
Glenn

Not going to answer the question directly, but here's the latest info on flexor 3 and Scope 5:braineeter wrote:Greetings all; I've got a chance to do some Scope buying this week (yippee) and I can't decide whether to grab XOR or to upgrade Flexor to V3 (prolly will do both eventually but -- especially buying in $CDN, and given the other upgrading i need to finally do -- it's either-or for now).

and here's a list of the Flexor modules, with an indication of which come with v3:

They are both truly excellent products, so it really depends on what you're requirements are right now.

i tried the xor demo and is a really really good sounding and unique synth and can create all kinds of sounds from beautiful to organic to mean n dirty and deffintly would be worth the money but if it has to b between the 2 its flexor 3 without a dought. with flexor an entire synthetic n orgasmic world opens up with no boundaries n can pretty much create and sound in ur head with some knowledge of synthesis and some practice.u dont just have one synth,u have an infinite # of synths ,that u can each give its own uniqueness to, u have beautiful effects n sound manipulation modules like granular , sequencers.... possibilites r endless. and the kind of sounds that come out of these flexor 3 modules sound so good ull never want to use nething else, i know i dont
. deffinilty one of best investments i ever made n if u read the thread about scope 5 n flexor, assaf decided to support it in scope 5

Re: Good dilemma (XOR or Flexor 3)
IMHO I would get both.
First rule of PlanetZ spending,............why buy one, when you can have 2 at twice the price.
Then you can run your signals dry and amplified with MoJo for buying the bundle.....

Wow, i did miss something...that's awesome news about Flexor 3 + Scope 5 (sounds like a weird math formula). I will grab Flexor 3 immediately and XOR somewhere down the road.
Cheers
