Looking for hardcore Industrial colaborators

Post by netguyjoel »

I'm just getting back into this after taking a few years off to build a house & incorporate a 1000 sq ft concrete room with full PA, lighting, and LOTS of gear. The list is too long to remember everything. It's just A LOT. So I am looking for guys & girls too who would be willing to swap midi or audio tracks for some good old fashion fold, spindle & mutilate industrial stuff. I am willing to do remixes for spec too or just for winks & giggles too.

PLEASE!!! I've been gone far too long!!!!

Thank you in advance....Joel

not a complete list:

Access Virus C rack, Waldorf Q Rack, Microwave, Pulse, Supernova II rack, JD990 rack w/ vintage synth expander, Nord Lead 2x rack, SY99, Redsounds Elevata, Ensoniq DP4, Lexicon MDX500, Roland PM16, TD20, Scope 3.1c 6 dsp card mix & master I, synth & sampler I Modular II, NI Complete 3, Behringer BCF & BCR, (2) MX9000 consoles, (4) B1800X subs, (4) B1220 mids & high, (6) EP2500 amps, (2) CX3400 stereo crossovers, (2) B1500dsp powered floor monitors, Alesis RM100 & Monitor II, 12 simmons pads, 10 ddrum pads, 15 Zildjians, nimrods, dingbats, mics,....that's all I can remember without walking downstairs to the boom boom room (Muscle and Hate Studio) and take notes...

It's men like you guys, that blow my mind. After watching the videos for the new Solaris synth...I got lost after the 4th or 5th video out of 12 I think. I get effects, oscillators, filters, but modulation matrix and modular synths...I turn into just a preset dweeb.

I've spent a long time as a musician (started as a drummer, graduated to good enough to play jazz (half way around the world in my mid 20's)

Currently I'm 43. In my youth I have spent a few years living in Chicago in the mid 90's during the Wax Trax hey days, doing some sequencing & misc side stuff with Bon Harris (Nitzerebb), Chris Randall (Sister Machine Gun), En Esche (KMFDM), Dirk Krause & Uva (Armageddon Dildos), Fluffy, Hung w/ Critter Howell, Flood, Louis Svitek & Duayne Buford, Paul Barker (Ministry), the guys from Stabbing Westward, Jim & Vandy (Die Warzau). Have I name dropped enough and qualified myself by now? This kind of music is really where my heart lies. Bone crunching machine music!

I've been around for a while now & have taken some time off. Married a woman I don't deserve, designed & built a 7,700 sq ft ICF house by myself, rebuilding my studio , (almost done & I'll get into that at another time) I find myself lucky enough to get back into this, and be able to find & communicate with guys like you, who's generosity of your knowledge, generosity of your time, and genuine all around "niceness" just further encourages me want to learn more. At my age, I know the difference. I understand this might not be the right topic in the forum these statements, but I honestly feel it had to be said....after reading so many of your posts to help, and give accurate info & advice to others.....enough said...I look forward to meeting all of you in person someday (Jimmy V, your in this one too you know) .........Joel

P.S. don't get all mushy on me now...

Now that's it!!

You mean to tell me there are no industrial men or women in this forum that want to make music.............

you should have come 11 years earlier. I`m just giving it up and therefore I donate everything I own (which truly ain't much) except from the dj tools for having some additional fun.

I know...this is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I finally now have the space, the means, the gear, and just enough free time from my day gig, to do something that just runs in my veins. The local guys here...they mean well...talent suffers...not that I'm the great songwriter by any means...or...little or no ammunition. a kid w/ a copy of reason & a soundblaster card. Everyone has to start somewhere, I know I'm old school...a lot of guys my age have grown out of this kind of thing. Back in the day, I worked 2 jobs to get enough money to buy first EPS sampler...my R8M, D70 (which I still have..the D70 I mean). There has got to be some guys out there...I will continue to search....

All my best...
