I can't record ( with wavelab or soundforge ) with ULLI low .

If i set the ULLI high ( always at 44.1 khz ) wavelab and soundforge work fine .

My setup :

P4 1.8a / 512 Crucial / Win98SE / Asus P4B266 / GeforceMX 4 .

What is the problem ?

There's so many things that can possible interfere with your latency. To make a shorten a pages' explanation, Micha proposes that you read the tips'n'tricks section, for example Win9x Optimisation guides

Besides the tips and tricks for Win98 there's something else to consider---what driver modules are you using in Pulsar. If you're using the older Pulsar I it will not work like the Pulsar II stuff. Maybe that will help as well.
