Hello !! and Help!!
Ok, this morning I have changed Nuendo for Cubase (I tried this a few days before and I had the same problem), and the system seems ok. Why now?
I haven't done anything. The system and the configuration are the same.
Tomorrow I'll test cubase looking for problems. I hope there won't be problems...
Thank you for all your answer!!!

Ok, Today Cubase have gave me only a restart. I have could work a lot. But when I charged the STS 4000 a message sais me " error in DSP file KGparam3 vxd, check the installation". Of course I Looked for this file in C:, and the installation disk: There isn't any file called so! How can the system use this file if this file isn't in the install disk? I look a file called Kgpar3.vxd in the disk, but ovbiusly it's not the file.
Can you tell something more about your motherbord features?
HT technology (check in BIOS)?
How many USB slots does it have (check in BIOS).
And about your OS?
In what state is your computer system -> 'Standard PC' or 'ACPI'?
(see :Configscreen/Device Manager/Computer)
Other pci cards installed?
cheers,
Casper

the 865 chipset is very good with the cwa cards. yours could be faulty, however...
i'd check the meory and if it tests good(memtest), then i'd replace the mobo as the one you have is only about $90 to replace...of course, a reinstall wouldn't hurt either(format and reinstall)...
first, as Casper asked, what is your config?
what exactly are your irq assignments?

Ok , but it helps a little.
How many of the 8 usb ports are you using.
If none , shut them down in the BIOS.
If using 1 , try shutting down 7 of them , and find out wich one still operates.
When I just got my mobo , I too had these anoying restarts.
If your not realy into IRQ stuff, I recomend shutting down all ports that aren't being used. I just know you don't have 8 devices on you USB . So that's a start.
Then perhaps your parralel port (lpt1)
And even the Com ports if your not using them. Disable it all in BIOS.
Then if you still got it. You HAVE to look up in your motherbord manual wich physical pci slots are sharing the same IRQ.
Then you'd be able to give your pci cards a single IRQ.
Well, try these things, and let us know what happended.
good luck,
Casper

Re: Hello !! and Help!!
maybe too late, but...
there is a file KGPar3.vxd and the error refers to it.
the file is located in /Scope/App/Vxd.
the problem is, that file has strange attributes - 'hidden' and 'system'. you can unset them with command line < attrib "filename" -h -s > or to copy over KGPar3.vxd from installation disk manually and then you got file without attributes.
do the same for all files that has -h- and -s- attributes - overwrite them from installation disk that these attributes are gone.
i guess it is the scope bug with ntfs file system - i got these problems with several systems!
