In Scope 4.0 STM2448:
-> set the Studio Outputs to "Monitor" on the Talkback page
-> save project
-> re-open project
=> Outputs set back to "Mix"!?

4.5 ansd 4.0 are practically identical. both are the work of Creamware and not S/C(Holger and Jurgen had left CW by that point).
why don't you write a polite, friendly letter to S/C about all the little bugs you hate. i'm sure they are willing to work on them, but obviously bigger problems take priority over little ones. since this is a user forum and not a S/C support forum, all you can get from us is help on system configuration and operating tips, or a sympathetic or non-sympathetic ear. we can't fix things like that. personally, i find thing like that to be utter non issues. as far as i'm concerned, that's how it works. Holger and Jurgen would like to make things as nice as they can for the users, however. of that, i'm convinced based on time i've spent with them, and the fact that they are very interested in hearing opinions. i wouldn't expect any direct response, and there's no sense in spamming them, but to the point that people would like a feature enabled or a big fixed, and the time in the day, week, month, year allowed it, they WILL work on it. they won't respond well to rudeness, however...

it's they way it works. that setting is not saved. it would be nice for that setting to be saved, so write by all means if you are so inclined. to answer your question though, yes, i believe it's the same in 4.5 but i haven't tested it.

i have tested both mixers for you in 4.5 and it is as you describe. Not something i've ever noticed as i never use that page. Send them an email.
However if you are thinking of getting Scope 5.0 then maybe wait and see if it's still there. i think all future effort will be on fixing things in 5.0, so maybe your energy would be best spent finding bugs in that - i doubt they'll fix 4.0 and 4.5.
