Stop Scope from asking to save unchanged projects
Stop Scope from asking to save unchanged projects
Is there a way to stop the Scope software to not ask to save unchanged projects. That's just plain annoying.
-> load project
-> try to load different project
=> now why the hell is it asking if i want to save the changes? there were no changes made!

no, maybe v5 will still be that way, maybe not. it's a very minor annoyance.

I believe you can just hit 'n' on the keyboard to say no instead of clicking...?

Did I say anything about "clicking"? That dialog shouldn't popup at all in this case.valis wrote:I believe you can just hit 'n' on the keyboard to say no instead of clicking...?

You're excelling at snarky replies so far! I didn't say you said anything about clicking, I just posted up a possible hint.Dstruct wrote:Did I say anything about "clicking"? That dialog shouldn't popup at all in this case.

Obviously this guy gets wound up at the slightest things - yes it's mildly irritating but it's hardly something to get stressed about. Oh, and welcome to the forumvalis wrote:You're excelling at snarky replies so far! It seems you've found a flaw that isn't actually a flaw. Congrats.

dude, you don't like that behavior, it's too bad. fighting with people here won't change anything.

Re: Stop Scope from asking to save unchanged projects
its annoying with the pop up stuff. ( and other things).. scope 4.5 is old and has bugs. I will give you that.
lets hope for the best for scope 5.
If they dont sort things out, there is always the option of leaving the platform completely.
There is no way anyone should continue using things that frustrates them and ruins their creativity.

Re: Stop Scope from asking to save unchanged projects
If you're frustrated and it's ruining your creativity, I don't think I'd hold my breath to see if Scope 5 is some major breath of fresh air. Now if they put out and it still has bugs, promise to fix them and then turn around and put Scope 6 up for sale in a year with a bunch of 'new features' but still no bugfixes...well they'd be insanely popular judging by Steinberg's example
Personally I just work around bugs in whatever software I find them, they're usually there when you start paying attention and getting frustrated about it doesn't equate to productivity.
Also it's not against the rules to post up threads here sharing your frustrations, but I wouldn't expect that alone to make the SC guys aware of your frustrations...this is not a support forum.
