Dstruct i feel your pain.. I'm bugged by creamware sometimes, becuase of bugs, bad PR, crapppy homepage etc etc..
All i can hope for is that Xite/ scope 5 will change all this. I will not be expecting any kind of updates until scope 5 is here. What would the point in making fixes be when they are working on a HUGE update (with included fixes) anyway..

But

there is no Creamware. it's S/C, and that's a completely different management. there are none of the same guys in charge, even though the developement and support guys were employed by Creamware.

If it will be fixed in version 5 I'm happy. Let's see ...

It's a bug. Who knows if it will be fixed in v5. If you hook the EX out up in reverse your image will be correct.

There are other mixers available for the platform.

Of course. But then you need to pan mono tracks reversed. And that's quite irritating.

it's just the headphone monitoring. just use it in mono and get over yourself. the mixing engine has no such problem. NON issue, tempest in a tea cup, mountain out of a mole hill...

Just a thought. Maybe it has inherited an audience vs. musicians perspective paradigm ;).. Like if you were to use it in a FOH mixer scenario fashion it would make sense.

Of course, this isn't so if the mono channels are correct.
