RIP John Martyn

Post by nightscope »

John Martyn has died. Irreplacable, incomparable, my inspiration and all time favourite. A real shock. Wow.

Go buy the album "Bless The Weather." if you ain't got it.

:(

I'm a big fan of his work. He was introduced to me by a mad old toker about 15/16 years ago & I went out the same week & bought that album. Not sure about the last few years, but he used to live no more than about 15 miles from me here in the Clyde valley.

RIP John

On Gilles Peterson's show last night, he paid tribute to John Martyn by playing a few of his tracks. 8)
