Having been able to install Scope 4.5 successfully (thank you) I now want to use
Wavelab 4. It lists Creamware as an available soundcard but won't play
the file that's in the demo. It says either the sample rate or bit depth
may be in correct. I hope I don't have to manually change that all
the time. I figured 24 bit 44.1 will be perfect for most of my use with
Paris and Cubase therefore Wavelab too.
In the Scope setup should it be set to Master or Slave to work with
Wavelab and eventually Cubase 4? I have copied the new asio.dll
into Scope already.
Any ideas on this one?
Thanks again!
Tom
Creamware as a sound card with Wavelab 4

Oh, and I am using a Lucid external clock however it
is not getting to the Creamware card except through ADAT
lightpipe.

Re: Creamware as a sound card with Wavelab 4
The sample rate settings in Wavelab and SFP have to be set to the same value. If you have a sound file at 44.1kHz that you want to open in Wavelab you need to set the sample rate in SFP to 44.1kHz before you open Wavelab. Once you set the sample rate in SFP it will stay at that value, so long as you save your project. However you will need to change those settings any time you want to open a file of a different sample rate in Wavelab.
