Does Volkszampler still work?

I downloaded the setup program for Volkszampler, and it won't accept the key for one of my cards - says "wrong key for Volkszampler".

I also have the old disk, and it runs some splashy Pulsar vids then runs a startup file like the other one - maybe the same. That one crashes when I enter a key.

I have two different cards with keys for it.

Does anyone know if it's extinct or not? I'm using XP and Scope 4.5. I tried applying the compatibility mode for win '98, but setup still crashed.

I'm going to sell my Pulsar II, and it doesn't have a sampler, just the STS-2000p player. So I was looking over Volkszampler. I guess you could record on it, too.
