Help recording pulsar synths through Logic to hard drive
Would anyone be kind enough to help someone more into the music than the technical side (hence my difficulties). I have written some songs using logic with some audio loops, with pulsar synths over the top. I have asked before here, but nobody helped me. I now want to record the synths and audio loop into one stereo wav file through logic, so I can then burn it to cd. Please help! Maybe someone also has a project set up for this they could send me? neuphonix@yahoo.com Thanx
Hi flux,
if i understand you right you want to mixdown some tracks into 1 track!? So there are a few possibilities:
- route all tracks from Logic to master so all tracks come out of 1asioSource stereochannel into your pulsarmixer -> record it then with Logic and route the new track into a 2nd asioSource stereochannel. This one don´t route to the same asioDestmodule (feedback)
- route every track from logic to its own asiochannel, mix it with pulsar and route it to only one asiodestchannel
- in cubase there is the possibility to make a mix down of all selected tracks without using pulsar but i don´t know whether there is the same function in logic
So far sorry for my bad english but i hope it´ll help u.
Bye FreiFlug

Good detailed descriptions for both Logic and Cubase are in Spirit's now-famous threads of "rendering to .WAV file" - <a href=http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... >Somewhere on the Nine Planets there must be an easy way.. </a>
