Creamware Project + SonicCore Proffesional

Post by Inferman »

Hi Scope Community again.
Thanx for Your previous advice concerning AD\DA.
I'm waiting for the new SonicCore A16 Ultra.

I have another question.

I have Creamware Scope Project with 6 DSP and I have an interesting offer to buy used SonicCore Professional 14 DSP Card.
The question is - how can I use theese cards power together?
Should I have to take some external cables, Z-link and others or I'll able to use it together immediately after inserting in PCI-slots?

One more question. My project card has SCOPE v4.0 and Professional card has SCOPE v4.5, will I able to use SCOPE v4.5 drivers for whole 6+14 dsp system?

Thanx a lot.

P.S. Maybe its reasonable to wait for X-CITTE 1 with its x10 DSP power :-)?

i have exactly the above. at first i had the project and after a year i bought the pro.
they work perfectly together.

but... maybe you could wait for the new system.......
depends on how much it will cost for the scope pro.
the bigest advantage having 20dsps is the synth polyphony, and also the bigger projects you can create, mixers with more channels etc.....

depends on the cost of the 14dsp.

if i could find another scope pro for less than 600 euros....(you see i already have alll the plugins and i have also payed for many extras) i would have bought it.

waiting is always exciting. my suggestion is wait and get a xite-1. 140dsp@ 2900euro (20.7euro per dsp). looks cheap compare to 14dsp system.
oh.. is sfp 5 will come with the box?
thanks

Something like 18 new DSP which includes 6 DSP for routing purposes, is what I thought I read somewhere.

Nice calculation indeed )) But why do You think X-cite will have 10xScope Pro DSP power?

Because that's what Sonic|Core said when the announced it.

He means don't plug from one card into the next externally - i imagine that'll just fry the connector. Plus it's not really necessary.
