Hi all pulsar geeks,

Is it normal that Luna 2 has IRQ 4 and Pulsar XTC IRQ 10??
How can I set to the same IRQ??
Because of this I can't load the asio scope drivers??

Thanks in advance!!

and ... have a nice beat!!

Which version of Windows?

Generally this is set in your computer's BIOS, check your motherboard manual for details on assigning IRQs to PCI slots.

With WinXP, you should be in "Standard PC Mode." Usually witih ACPI, regardless of BIOS settings, most devices will appear on one IRQ... See the "Optimize your Win2000/XP" in the Tips & Tricks section for more info on Standard vs. ACPI.

If you're already in standard, check your BIOS (one small change there, you should be good. Since you don't mention ALSO your motherboard and provide little info, I can not be more specific).

Thanks Subhuman, I've solved the first problem!

I've changed in the Bios Settings.

But now I've encountered another problem:

I've the following configuration:
Win xp + Amd Athlon 1200 Mhz + 512 Mb Ram + A7V266-E motherboard with 4 ms latency @ 44.100.

3 pci slot Pulsar XTC
4 pci slot luna2

Luna 2 was before installed, then I've installed Pulsar XTC, now I've in C: two setups one for luna 2 and the other for Pulsar XTC

But I can't use the scope as asio driver, therefore I can't use the Buses in Cubase.

Is there any solution to solve my problem?

Can I solve my problem trying to setup the CSET.ini?

Do you have Luna V3 software? If so simply reinstall it over the top of itself, and you should be good to go. Remember you can't run XTC mode at the same time as the "real time" Luna mode. I suggest simply using the XTC card as a DSP expander so you can continue to work in the same way with your Luna.

If you have Luna V2.5 software, I'm sorry, but I don't know how to make that combination work with XTC software. In that case I would decide which way to work (hint: I strongly prefer NOT working in the XTC mode  ), and uninstall the one you don't want, reinstall the one you do, using the other board as an expander:
1. Luna V2.5 software with XTC as an expander OR
2. XTC Mode with 9DSPs, and Luna as an I/O board (less flexible, more latency).

Oh and I hope you have both of your boards connected with an STDM ribbon cable (they should come in the XTC box if purchased new)

For sure...
But thanks, I thought that I was been able to use Pulsar XTC in real time as Luna does  ...

... I hope that will be available in the new version of scope 3.1 !!

Thanks Subhuman, your help was very useful

XTC in "real time" is entirely dependant upon the HOST processor. So once you have 2.6ghz (533mhz FSB) the lowest latency setting is probably obtainable.
