does exist an "audio switcher"?

i.e. a simple device who can "switch" two stereo signal in input to one outpu, so that i can listen to one or the the other simple bye pressing a single button.
this could be useful for example, to switch between your track (in input 1, the exit of bigmixer, for example) and a "professional recording" (in input 2): you can compare simply the two sound and listen the differences "in real time".
for now, i use the micromixer for this task, but you have to press two button (mute one track and unmute the other), and the use of such audio swithcer can make things easy and meaningful (you don't hear silence between the switching)...
i hope this question is not stupid...
and i wonder if someone already programmed this device and put it into the "device" section (and i didn't found it, yet! :wink:)

or use MixMaster and assign your controller knob to the cross fader, send value 0 and 127..
