Cubase Sx3 cannot initialise scope drive

I am running a luna 11 board with win xp and cubase sx3 and scope 4
when I try to select the the scope sound card in cubase sx 3 I get the error
'The ASIO drive ASIO SCOPE could not be initialised'
I hav etried different ASIO outputs in the Scope configuration window..none make any difference. This used to work when I was using version scope 3.1
The Scope driver appears ok in the windows xp device manager..but of course that is not the asio one
Any help will be very much appreciated

I have not tried any synth or FX in the configuration screen...My main concern is getting Cubase to work and I dont have any other asio programs. I guess I could download something...but I really need Cubase SX to work

How do i tell if the version 4 drivers have been loaded?
when I select the sound card in device manager it says that the driver version is 1.5

i use Scope with SX3 all the time without ANY problems.

you DO need a matching pair of asio modules in the routing window BEFORE opening Cubase...

are you in the USA or do you have Skype? we could talk on the phone... PM me if it comes to that...

Scope is not a regular windows soundcard. the device manager settings are not necessarily relevant.

I managed tofix it last night..the issue was sync
I set the the luna 11 card to master and all was solved...
seems a bit strange as I was not actually having a digital sync issue t it e it work so i am
but it made it work so I am happy
