Scope and cubase 4.5.2
So I upgraded cubase and guess what? I can change scope projects with cubase running without changing asio drivers now. It's so nice, finally, hopefully it continues for future releases.

I'm not sure about that, you are talking about the one sonic-core released right?
I think that I still couldn't change projects with cubase open after that, but maybe, I thought it just fixed the 96kz problem. I always thought this was a cubase problem actually. Either way, it works now and I like it

Re: Scope and cubase 4.5.2
I think that at a time it was working in sx3 but then it stopped again at an update somewhere. At least for me using scope for the last 4 years, through different versions of cubase, I have had to shut down cubase or change asio drivers most of the time in order to change scope projects. Something with the way cubase was handling the asio drivers. With some versions cubase would crash, with others it'd just loose the connections and you'd have to reassign. Regardless, I'm glad it's working smoothly now, whatever the problem and whatever the fix was

It would be nice to know if this nice behaviour is due to cubase 4.5.2 update or to new asio.dll driver by soniccore or both.
Thanks

Re: Scope and cubase 4.5.2
I think the new scope asio dll was to allow for 96khz which was a problem before, I don't think it made any difference for me regarding losing contact with the asio drivers while changing projects.
I have no problem with 16 tracks in and as many as I need out of cubase, normally around 20-26 or so.
Cubase 4.5 has been working good, the only problem I've had is there seems to be a bug in the media bay so that when you preview samples they always loop and there seems to be an echo on them, kinda annoying but I'm hoping that'll be fixed, othere than that I've had no problems with this version.
