luna/scope compatability

Post by keggles »

Hi all
I have installed a luna11 board and I have scope4 running
The issue I am having at the moment is that programs that use to work flawlessly are now missbehaving. By that I mean Line6 gearbox will not load at all and Amazing Slow Downer works for a little while and then locks up ..the only fix for ASD is to reboot the PC
are there know compatability issues with scope?
I havent tried to reinstall these programs as yet...but if this a compatability issue..that I never had with my EMU card...then I might have to go back to it as I need these programs to work..but I also need the adat ins and outs of the scope card
thanks

nope, no compatiblity issues.

Scope is not a standard windows soundcard, though. the routing window needs to be properly configured with the correct i/o in place before opening the program(s) you wish to use.

Thanks for the reply
but neither of these programs areactually using scope
the line 6 gearbox is using it's own builtin usb sound card. but it just locks up while trying to open... and I have the Amazing slow downer set to use the line 6 harwareas well because when I tried to use the scop/luna11 ASD just crashed straight away :-(

well, if Scope is closed and the usb driver is in place, Scope really has nothing to do any of it.

you may need to try another usb port. if windows has disabled the line6 in the port you usually use, you may need to trick it to make things work again. after the line6 has the driver installed to the new port, the old port should start working again.
