Help!!!!!!!!!!. DSP cards cannot work with Logic ES1 synths. I found that out late. I need to get those synth sounds in my recording. I am using two PCs. One with Luna 11 and the other with SB Live Platinum. I want to play the ES1 from the SB Live into the Luna 11 via midi.

Hmm, a very confusing message:

Do you mean you're using an older version of Logc without DSP delay compensation (pre 5.0) or is there something else I don't know about? I've used a VST synth with Creamware synths before w/o problems... (I admit I rarely use VST synthesizers, however).

I want to play the ES1 from the SB Live into the Luna 11 via midi.

This message confuses me, so let me reword it to what I'm thinking you mean (correct me if I misinterpret): "I want to trigger the Luna synth from the computer with the Soundblaster. The soundblaster computer is running the sequencer." In this case, simply chose the SB Live midi port on your sequencer's computer, and connect the SBlive midi output port to the Luna2 Midi input port, and make adjustments to your Luna project ("Luna Midi Source" instead of Sequencer Midi Source"). However, I can't say that's the most ideal way of controlling your Luna, but it should work. Maybe you could clarify if you mean something different.

I've never had a vsti synth that would'nt run with the Pulsar platform.

Creamware is at heart, simply a soundcard, nothing more, nothing less!

The Logic 5.x synths/samplers work as native synths and run fine, so I'm a bit confused too?

imho the problem results from integration of ES1 inside Logic, which means he wants the SBLive computer's Logic acoustic output routed into the recording computer with another Logic running on Luna as sequencer/recorder.
The midi notes come from the Luna computer.
So the setup might be:
Luna midi out (physical) to SBLive midi in.
SBLive SPDIF out to Luna SPDIF in.
Luna set to digital slave.
Basically this should work if the digital clock would be OK, so there might be a problem with this or with Logic audio routing to SBLive digital out ???

I have to apologise about the ES1 synth. I had the modules connected wrong. It is now working in perfect time.
