well i like your stuff a lot. how do you record the voice? is it done on top of all instruments or else. Just asking because although the background is quite electronic, she manages to sign on pitch very well..

The vocal is recorded with a RØDE classic mic, through a SPL goldmike pre-amp, into a Creamware A16.

Inside my DAW I inserted WAVES C-1 gate, UAD-EX1 (EQ) and UAD-LA2A (VERY nice compressor)

I then send to MDA-stereo plugin on a group channel, which then again is send to UAD-Realverb.

The vocal take is done with music background you hear.

I sounds so close and "on top" mostly becouse of the nice compressor. (it's mixed quite loud too!!!
