Hello, I suppose it is a normal analog->digital conversion problem:
when converting to digital the signal must be limited to "0dB" line level, excess peaks will cause distortion to occur.
This is different when connecting analog hardware: analog devices (not the brand!
) tipically do not distort in those cases, because they don't have that precise "0dB" limit, every device has its own limit and tolerates a bit of overdrive which in you case results in a more compressed sound ("when I link alone mic pre-listening is a bomb"), but HEY that "bomb" is not the pure sound! it is altered by the overdrive!

convertendo un segnale in digitale, il segnale non deve superare il livello di "0dB", tutto ciò che arriva oltre questo livello causa distorsione.
Tra apparecchiature analogiche invece va in maniera diversa: la strumentazione analogica tipicamente non distorce in questi casi perché il limite preciso degli "0dB" non c'è, e ogni apparecchiatura ha il suo limite e tollera normalente un po' di "sovraccarico" che nel tuo caso si traduce in un suono più compresso ("when I link alone mic pre-listening is a bomb"), ma ATTENZIONE sta bomba non è il suono "puro", è alterato dal sovraccarico!
