Creamware need to get serious on this topic. Creamware hones
you are happy because you have it for more than 2 years! of course if i were you.
and for the not posting specs of it's softwares, it's so obvious and again not all people can see this website.
(if you have money and time, you can put everything on court)

I did not say that. I said that I am happy with it because in those two years it has not given me much problems and it has amazed me and still does. It enables me to make the music I want to, with a little help from other software and hardware (not much). On 2002-04-04 15:01, dxl wrote:

Your writing becomes more incoherent with every post, just like the general contents of your messages.of course if i were you.

What's with half sentences? What are you saying?? Creamware don't post the specs of their software? The specs are all there on the CW site. But if you're talking about DSP usage, yes it would be better if they put up a list of DSP usage per module. But it would be hard to make a list of every possible module combination and it's DSP usage. I wouldn't expect them to. If I want to know such details I will search the web and ask some people who use it, and I'll probably end up here.
Not everybody can see this website? Everybody has access to the internet nowadays, if not themselves, then a friend or a library. As I said, post a CW question on any music forum and 99% chance they will link you to PlanetZ. Everybody should be able to find this information. If not they can still go to their dealer and ask for details. Again, this sort of investment requires a bit of research.
The fact that CW does not have a list like that does not make them dishonest. Nowhere on the site do I see them say "you can run all these modules at the same time on just 4 DSP!"
Are you saying we should? Does this remark have any relevance to the issue at hand? Now who's straying from the topic?(if you have money and time, you can put everything on court)

People we have a serious problem now, and maybe here's a compromise.
I admire your afforts Snake, but It's endless, really endless.
You was SO clear and precise in your words, and what you get back indeed is chaos and nonsens.
He doesn't have mutch feeling for logica and language, so...that's why I REFUSE to get in direct communication with him (it's the absolute attention he needs).
Everybody here knows that THE GUY NEEDS HELP.
Now we are his hostages because we are to decent and democratic to ask John to throw him out.
It took about three month's of insults and chaotic irrational accusations toward everybody on Creamware's forum, before Ingo (Creamware) HAD to give him a red card, after he called CW fucking dickheads (yeah, let's laugh).
But it took weeks before the sky cleared up, in fact Ingo was accused of undemocratic methods by some other members (!)
And now again on planetz the same fucking nonsens, for allmost a half (!) year I have to deal with his escapades.
So you see, it will continue and continue, specially because he knows that planetz is his last refuge and therefore sometimes tries to pretend 'positiv', as a stupid 'smart farmer'.
But even if he just seems to ask something, the thread ends up in a sort of therapy, because of his replies.
My point now.
In a few weeks we'll see the long expected 3.1 update.
For sure there will come up problems, bugs, and different opinions of us about everything.
We will have to discuss this all in a open and intelligent dialog, it will be THE topic for weeks, if not for month's.
This requires a open and positiv community, and the last thing you can use with that, is someone who tries to improve that CW is too expensive, offers not enough voices, lies about the DSP power, won't listen to him (...!), etc., etc.
I garantee you: his wild actions will crisscross every thread and forum, pulling away our attention from the real bussiness.
What could be a nice party, a bit like unpacking a gift, and after that, discussing all the new stuff of the update, will get disturbed by irritating nonsens.
So, what can be the conclusion?
I do respect At0mic's and others opinion, keeping up tolerance.
But it doesn't take away the problem.
People keep getting upset by him, and it's impossible, with an open and big community like ours, to deny him.
There's allways SOMEONE who replies to his inputs, either from a tolerance point of view, or from offence.
Even when someone would say oh well he's just a joker, let him go, he has to admit that many others get upset by him, like me and others.
I'm afraid there will be a moment we HAVE to choose, to me this moment is now allready.
Either we keep up our principles about tolerance and democracy, and accept that ONE person, WHO CANNOT BE ADRESSED IN A LOGICAL AND LANGUAGE BASED MANNER (see this thread), has such a big influence on topic, athmosphere and feelings.
Or we ask John when he's back, to find a solution, accepting this could be withdrawing his membership.
Another possibility however could be to ask John allowing him just the right-to-read possibility, without the right-to-post (passive membership?).
That way he will have all the benefits of all the forums, and we will be free of his wild cards and annoying comparisons between CW's and other's products.
May be this last option can build a bridge not just between several members of this forum, but also between the contrasting feelings and thoughts in everyone's head personal, mine included.
I hope this can bring a solution for a problem that will NOT go away without SOME action.
Or do we wanne spoil our pleasure with the next update?
This is my contribution to this obvious problem.
If no one seems to like this idea, I will shut my mouth and accept that the guy is there.
Except sometimes a small, nasty and not positive comment, if I'm getting upset TOO mutch...and have to work off.
I hope you can accept that!

Well guys, I must admit I've been kind of making it worse.
I usually have a real problem with people with no sense of logic, but I generally ignore them. But I have to say I've been having these conversations with DXL mainly because they've been amusing me. I agree now that has been at everyone else's expense.
My apolgies to the forum. I will discontinue immediately.

He hasn't the proportion of things and the example of the shampoo/court shows it clearly. He can't accept the reality of things and reacts in an childish way. I understand that it's behaviour is not creating good feelings and that is a pain for people in the forum, but why is he still here? What is he looking for in this forum? Is he trying to open our eyes with his words?!
I think he knows the situation perfectly, he only wants to make himself known in some way. He his a 18 years old kid who's interest for audio/music goes over the knowledge most people have at his age and this is noteworthy, but for some reasons he's got all that rage inside and instead of making new friends or learning something from others he fails doing fight with the whole world.
In some way pulsar/cw forums are useful for him, maybe he can talk with expert people of matters he could not elsewhere.
If he's thrown out, we'll stay better, but surely he could not learn anything more.
I don't know...
I hope he will mature and people won't care about him seriously before then.

I've been participating on digital forums long before the WWW existed and somehow learnt to mentally filter out the nonsense, and see through the way people say things or twist their perception, dyslectic writing etc. Makes my digital life much easier!
And applied to real-life the same seems to be the case....

That could be an idea: a filter.
People who want to read his threads or other annoying ones must deactivate that filter, something like ethic/morality offence protection on certain sites...
...the moderator should state which ones are offensive and enclose 'em in the set of filtered ones or automatically remove to particular unpolite persons the ability of posting not filtered threads (as first penalty instead of throwing 'em away)
So any user can decide at any time if care or not and unkind posters are not thrown

about the shampoo thing
if you have money you can put everything on court it's commone sense.
but the value of shampoo just not worth that money, energy, and time. and it's commone sense that normal people wouldn't expect certain thing in a certain price will do you certain good and it's commone sense as well.
but if the shampoo is badly damage someones hair then it's another store.
your example of shampoo is just like the example of Car that used before. (if you are new u might not know)
you people trying to say i'm sick, i need help.
ask yourself one simple question.
have you ever been in a situation or seem someone who dislike him/her and will keep saying bad things or not positive stuff of that him/her, but that someone or you still have good time with other people? i sure you know all this, you just want to kick me!
i know pulsar is important to many of you creamware developers......... great fight! you guys having fun?
kimgr: you last post is very clear an example isn't it?
u think i don't know the 0dB rule?
oh people please clear out
"what is a constructive argument"
or you just simplely call all negitive arguments nonconstructive here?
plz clear it out for future users, so that they know what to watch out!
