ADAT question

Hi all,

i have a question about ADAT...
I have 2 PC, and 2 scope card (home + project) only...(poor guy )

is that possible to connect 2 sound card each on different PC trough ADAT ? and to get multiple channel routing ?

well, I'm planing to use one PC for editing and restoration, and the second for monitoring, and live effect/ recording in sfp in the second PC.

i had never used ADAT.

Yes it would work, as long as you slave one pc to another, you could have 8 channels of audio @ 44.1khz per optical wire. Some people recommend not to use ADAT for audio AND syncing, so you could sync your pcs through spdif while you stream audio through ADAT.
