Latest Luna/Pulsar drivers on XP

Post by Salvatore »

Hello,
I'm putting up a audio system on XP P4 with a luna2/Powersampler card + i/o box, and a Pulsar1.

I tried to install the Luna2 card first with the supported 2.5 driver software I have, but failed.
I checked the sonic-core website for the newest drivers but did not find any information.

On this forum I read that I should download Scope 4.0 (which I did), which include the drivers, and contact sonic-core, sending the luna2/Powersampler and Pulsar1 key and s/n to receive an allkeys file.
I suppose I have to contact sonic-core support for this.
Is this the right track, am I missing anything ?

don't use the luna software. don't use the luna driver, the Scope driver is in the install files for the Scope platform. it's the same driver for all cards.

get the keys from Ralf and install the Scope platform. to give you keys, he'll need the serial number of both cards and your info(name, address etc.)

Hello,
I've been tinkering with the system, but always get an error message after implementing the elupo.inf file from Audio, video and game controllers.
Can anybody tell me anything I could try ?
I have become a bitsy desperate. :-?

And

Have you tried valis batch file to change the file attributes ?
Thanks for you're response,,,

Cannot Install this Hardware

There was a problem installing this hardware :

Creamware DSP-Board

An error occurred during the installation of the device of the device

The class installer has denied the request to install or
upgrade this device.

What is this valis batch file ?
I did a search and downloaded it, and just tried it.
It asked the Scope path, but I was told to first install the driver, and than the Scope software, so I quit.

are you sure you are logged in as administrator?

are you sure you're pointing to the correct driver when installing? do you click "continue anyway" when windows gives that scary warning about unsigned drivers?

installing the scope driver should work first.
The error you see seems like you didnt do that yet ?
Correct,
What I did was instal the Adaptec Aspi Drivers,
put in the Luna2 card,
go to the Win9.x divers,
chose the elupo.inf file,
and after that I get the error message.

Ehm, I don't think I reached that point yet.

I thought so, Scope4.0/drivers/Win9.x/elupo.inf
do you click "continue anyway" when windows gives that scary warning about unsigned drivers?
Yes, just before I reached the drivers.
